The Paul P. Gates Elementary School is growing a caring community!
The Paul P. Gates Elementary School is a K-6 school that is located in Acton, which is approximately 20 miles northwest of Boston. The Gates school is a community of learners that value high expectations, respects individual differences, and celebrates the diversity of the school population. Students are proud to have flags from their countries displayed in the cafeteria. Every month the school participates in a student centered All School Meeting, where we gather together and celebrate our core values through song, performances, stories and plays. The Green Team is an environmental club that empowers students and teachers to help the environment through waste reduction, recycling, energy conservation, and pollution prevention. The Student Council provides leadership in community service projects that foster trust, kindness, and respect. Our goal is to build a safe and joyful learning community where all students feel important and have a sense of belonging.
At the Gates school we believe that student success begins when the school community focuses on the social-emotional well-being of all students. Students are able to learn best when their heart and the mind are calm and peaceful. The dedicated staff works collaboratively with families to meet the diverse needs of all of our students. The Gates School is proud to be growing a caring community through civility, respect, and kindness. A community where every student feels loved, valued, challenged, and is supported by all members of the Gates community.
