We believe the cohesiveness amongst faculty, staff, administration, students, and parents is the driving force behind our school's success. At Forked Island E. Broussard, we set high academic goals and expectations and work in partnership to bring this mission to fruition. We pride ourselves on our family-oriented environment. It's the glue that holds our school community together.

Being such a close-knit community of a small, rural school, we are able to support each other by keeping our parents and students engaged. We do so by extending an open invitation to be a vital part of their educational journey. Whether it be volunteering at school to provide assistance to the faculty and staff, attending any of the school events that are open to the community, or more importantly, attending parent teacher conferences or simply staying connected with emails and phone calls in order to stay involved in their child's learning, parents are involved and offer tremendous support. This connection between home and school plays an indispensable role in student success. Through regular two-way communication, parents, students, and community members know the expectations set forth by the school and are equipped with the tools needed to ensure academic achievement.

Collaboration among all involved is instrumental to the academic success of all students. Our team approach has enabled us to provide a safe, nurturing and refined learning environment for all students. We believe this is what makes Forked Island E. Broussard such a great place to learn, achieve goals, and produce well-rounded students.
