OLL students create and collaborate in the newly-designed Media Center.

Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic School (OLL) has served the Mandeville, Louisiana, community since its founding in 1890 and is proud to be the only three-time National Blue Ribbon elementary school in the state, placing it among the top schools in the nation.

OLL endeavors to educate the whole child while preparing all students for cutting-edge careers. The MakerSpace and freshly-designed Multimedia Center foster student creativity within comfortable and innovative venues. The school is proud to offer outstanding athletics, creative theater arts opportunities, academic enrichment courses, visual art classes, and state-of-the-art technology and STEM programs. The expansion of its inclusion offerings to Resources for Exceptional Cardinals opened the school to students with more moderate exceptionalities.

In 2020, OLL was twice recognized as a Project Lead The Way Distinguished School. Learners are engaged in coding, robotics, biomedical sciences, and additional STEM project-based learning. While developing in-demand knowledge and skills, groups underrepresented in STEM careers reimagine how they see themselves due to the early introduction and inclusivity of the program. Additionally, newly expanded STEM offerings in preschool encourage early learners to creatively embrace challenges.

OLL students strive to achieve academic excellence and maintain results at the highest level of schools in the nation. The faculty and staff at OLL work together with parents to facilitate the growth and development of each child. The school prepares students spiritually, academically, and socially, in its efforts to create the leaders of tomorrow.
