Welcome to Hazel Green Elementary, home of the Bullfrogs. Our school has been a cornerstone of the Hazel Green Community for over 100 years. Even though Hazel Green School is now Hazel Green Elementary, community support for our school continues to remain strong. While our families may be faced with many challenges, the support provided to our school provides evidence of the confidence our families place in our school. At our school, we believe that working together with staff, students, and the community we can help students achieve great success.

The teachers at Hazel Green Elementary believe the most essential skill our students can achieve is reading development. All students participate in a rigorous reading program where we've seen improvement across all levels. The newfound reading skills that our students acquire are utilized in content areas so that students gain an understanding that improved reading abilities provide multiple opportunities throughout life. The Hazel Green Elementary School climate is one that fosters success. Our staff holds works diligently to provide students with a belief in a strong work ethic.

Our school is currently identified as a "5-star" school, the highest level of achievement as measured by the state assessment. For the past several years, Hazel Green Elementary has exceeded state benchmark standards multiple times. While these recognitions are nice to attain, these accomplishments only validate the incredible job that our teachers do each day in providing our students with opportunities to achieve their highest potential.
