Located in the heart of the Upper Highlands, St. Raphael the Archangel Catholic School appeals to families from various neighborhoods throughout the Louisville area. Established in 1949, St. Raphael is a vibrant Catholic community with a strong faith base and mission for success. The St. Raphael community is approaching its 75th anniversary and there is great energy around preserving tradition while looking forward to making improvements for the continued success of the community. St. Raphael prides itself in providing students with multiple layers of individualized support in the areas of academics, social and emotional health, and spiritual awareness. The theme, "You Were Made For Greatness" is widespread and stakeholders take pride in being great each and every day.

These values are embedded into classroom instruction as well as in teacher and student relationships. At St. Raphael, students know their teachers care for them and want them to be successful. Through differentiated instruction and collaboration between teachers and parents, St. Raphael's teachers meet the various learning needs of their students by implementing best teaching practices and utilizing state of the art resources. Teachers are continually participating in professional development to enhance their teaching practices and are committed to being lifelong learners in their professional field.
