The St. Cecelia Catholic School (SCS) campus is alive with happy prekindergarten through eighth grade students who love coming to school. It's true, our students love being here! Visitors are always impressed with how exceptionally happy our students are. At SCS, our students know their teachers love them and they make learning fun. Parents tell us they can't believe how much their children are learning. The families and school are a team and we are all here for the same reason; the students.
Because SCS has been in the community since 1948, the "family" atmosphere is amazing. Parents are regularly on campus as volunteers to assist the students and support the teachers. Teachers inspire one another to be better and this is passed down to the students. SCS students learn about their faith, but more importantly, they learn how to live a faith-filled life. Students put their faith into action through service projects which positively impact people's lives around the world.
The faculty and staff are incredibly dedicated to the students' spiritual, academic, and overall well-being. Our classrooms are warm and welcoming. SCS is a Catholic, National Blue Ribbon (2010), International Baccalaureate World School. We believe learning should be stimulating, engaging, and meaningful. Teachers develop cross curricular units which incorporate global issues and empower students to solve real world problems. SCS develops faith-filled students who are prepared to use their rigorous academic education and strong moral compass as a foundation for life. SCS students are ready to make the world a better place.
