Landstuhl EMS, in addition to operating in a unique environment, is committed to creating a climate of kindness and shared leadership with a focus on excellence. The Landstuhl campus encompasses grades Pre-Kindergarten through eight, and the nurturing environment and above commitment allows opportunities for each child to be successful. Our vision is Standards Based, Data Driven, Student Focused for Highest Student Achievement.
Landstuhl Elementary and Middle School faces the unique challenge of ensuring a common focus and goal for serving students from ages three to 14 which encompasses 10 grade levels. As such, LEMS has made the commitment to fostering an environment that values shared leadership. That is, each of the 12 collaborative teams designs, implements, and monitors goals that are aligned to their unique setting as grade levels, departments, disciplines, etc. This process has ensured joint ownership of successes and areas of growth throughout the building. With the strong focus on shared leadership, Landstuhl School has embodied the spirit of "One Team One Dream" and as a result LEMS has performed in the top 5 percent of all DoDEA schools throughout the globe.
