Hidden Hills (HH) Elementary, one of 36 schools that make up the San Ramon Valley Unified School District, is located in the San Francisco East Bay of Northern California. The entire community takes pride in our inclusive environment, where all students thrive and reach their highest potential. Our greatest strength is our sense of collective responsibility, as we work together to provide quality, targeted interventions to support all students in their learning.
The HH staff embraces data-driven decision making, and works collaboratively to develop common formative assessments, analyze student work, and discuss effective instructional strategies. This practice has proven exceptionally valuable in identifying those students who may need the support of our Learning Lab intervention program. Not only have we witnessed substantial growth in terms of reading and math scores, but we have also seen an increase in student motivation, confidence, and enjoyment of learning.
Our strong home-school connection also sets us apart as we work together to design a rigorous, engaging, and student-centered learning environment. Parent volunteers dedicate countless hours to enrich our student experience. Whether it be chaperoning a field trip to a local museum, assisting with our Back to School Block Party, helping with our talent show, running an extra-curricular book club, or walking laps each week for Fitness Friday, our families are actively encouraged to get involved on our campus. We are so appreciative of their enthusiasm and commitment, and strive each day to strengthen our family-type atmosphere. GO HAWKS!
