NBRS Badge for Riverview STEM Elementary School

Riverview STEM Elementary School - Rancho Cordova, CA

Robotics in the Tech Lab

Robotics in the Tech Lab

Riverview STEM Academy is a comprehensive K-5 elementary magnet school. Through its STEM focus, students become the problem solvers and critical thinkers needed to solve the world's problems and inspire hope wherever they go. Our students use structured approaches, like the engineering design process, and employ STEM knowledge, skills, and habits of mind, to learn that risk-taking and failure support and don't impede the pathway to success.

Riverview is a culturally and linguistically diverse school, in an urban setting in Northern California. Our robust parent and community partnerships enhance the work of our exemplary teaching staff. We are committed to using innovative, cooperative methods and an interdisciplinary curriculum that embraces creativity as expressed through multiple intelligences. We use scientific, technological, and mathematical principles in real-life applications such as design engineering and service projects that contribute to the community. This spirit was exemplified during our COVID-19 shut down, where we used our 3D printers to make masks for our local hospitals, accomplishing this in half the time we were given with quality and durability recognized by all.

Riverview STEM Academy is our school; we work together as a united community to address, overcome, and succeed in any challenge we are faced with! We are driven by grit, perseverance, and innovation to become a school where the impossible happens every day.
