NBRS Badge for Laguna Road Elementary School
Laguna Road Elementary School - Fullerton, CA
Laguna Road honors first responders on 9/11 Patriot Day!
Laguna Road Elementary School, tucked away in a well-established residential neighborhood in Fullerton, provides every student the opportunity to acquire future-ready skills for success in college, career, and life. Academically rigorous and relevant learning experiences paired with a variety of enrichment opportunities enable our students to explore their strengths and passions and develop a love of learning.
Through our Project Impact STEAM program, students develop a deeper understanding of integrated Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math through engaging, hands-on lessons in our Project Impact Lab. Each lesson is connected to a global impact question that students explore and discuss throughout the unit. Students learn to think critically and creatively, communicate effectively, and work collaboratively as a team.
Our school motto, "Roadrunners ACT responsibly by being Accountable, Courageous, and Thoughtful" reinforces a growth mindset, sparks agency and ownership of learning, cultivates positive relationships, and develops a strong sense of community. As students progress through their personalized journey of learning, they understand that taking risks and making mistakes is a part of becoming the best version of themselves.
Fostering a strong partnership between home and school is foundational to our students' success. From day one, parents are encouraged to get involved in various community events through our PTA, SOS Foundation, and Dad Squad and to create a positive school experience for all students. Our dedicated staff and highly engaged parent community work together in our shared mission to activate agency and empower our students to make a positive impact in their world.
