Coyote Canyon Elementary School (CCES) is nestled in the heart of Rancho Cucamonga, California. This campus is the largest elementary school in the Central Elementary School District with an enrollment of approximately 700 students. CCES provides a warm, stimulating environment with an emphasis on academic and social-emotional growth. Young scholars are actively involved in learning academics and positive values. The learning atmosphere involves purposeful curriculum, stimulating instruction, and engaging activities that foster a love for learning and a sense of greater purpose. The mission of CCES reflects the core value that education must be rigorous, and staff must persevere to ensure high achievement and outcomes. Although academic achievement is a priority, the faculty believe it is equally important to develop the whole child. The staff accomplishes this by creating a positive social-emotional environment for students to develop and grow. The atmosphere outside the classroom is also positive where a partnerships of authority practice is effectively implemented. This distributed leadership model empowers staff, parents, and community members to openly share their expertise, feedback, and ideas. As such, a synergy exists at Coyote Canyon. It is the shared belief of the CCES community that the love that is given to each other affects learning, builds character, and sets-up habits that will last a lifetime. Students at Coyote Canyon Elementary School receive a top-notch education from staff members who care deeply about the children they teach, the extended community, and each other.
