STEM at Carver

One of the biggest factors in K. L. Carver School's accomplishments is the dedication of our teachers, staff, parents, and guardians. Carver teachers are constantly innovating, applying, and sharing new instructional strategies to reaching all students over distance learning.

Carver School believes in engaging students in active learning, no matter what the setting. Administration and families shield teachers from excessive demands so teachers may focus their time and talents on students. Grade-level teams collaborate on instructional creation, delivery, and assessments. Teachers differentiate instruction and provide personalized learning following a clear vision of instructional design that meets content standards and streamlines data collection and analysis.

Student success is a collaborative effort. With the support of the San Marino Schools Foundation, San Marino Unified School District, the Carver PTA, the Caver Enrichment Fund, and our Carver families, the school continues in its excellence over distance learning in teaching, co-teaching, and student learning. Carver School is blessed to have devoted families and a wonderful community. The true difference is made through the level of parental involvement and the dedicated time and support of our families and community.

Carver school exists to serve its students. Carver has been the highest ranking elementary school in the County of Los Angeles for three years in a row because of the staff and families.
