Meadowlark Staff and Community-Difference Makers

Every child, every minute, every day: This simple statement encapsulates the core belief at Meadowlark Elementary School. The entire Meadowlark staff has worked to create an engaging and motivating environment; and when you walk through our school, you will see positive interactions between adults and students, not only in teaching, but in conversations everywhere.

The one practice that has led to our long track record of success is empowering passionate teachers and paraprofessionals to lead the charge each and every day. At Meadowlark Elementary, all staff work together to achieve goals, meet our mission, and ensure that our community effectively values all members of our school and staff. We utilize individual talents and everyone has the opportunity to contribute to our positive school culture. Our school personnel are exceptional at sharing responsibilities and demonstrate flexibility in their professional roles to assist where help is needed. We empower our staff members to take collective ownership of student learning and growth through systematic approaches to curriculum, assessment, and intervention. All staff members also strive to make personal connections with as many students as possible, taking the time to understand who each child truly is. Every adult at Meadowlark believes that ALL students are OUR students. Meadowlark staff members and community are not just people who work together; they are difference makers.
