Judith Zaffirini Elementary is one of the 29 elementary schools in the United Independent School District. At Judith Zaffirini Elementary, dedication to the overall success of all students is demonstrated by the commitment of every stakeholder. The efficiency in the deliverance of quality instruction has brought the campus the honor of receiving acknowledgments in the following areas during the 2018 school year: achievement in reading, science, top 25% student progress, top 25% closing performance gap, and post-secondary readiness. This campus has been recognized during the 2019 school year as a Texas Honor Roll School.

Teachers and staff members work in collaboration to ensure that students are provided with innovative instructional strategies in a conducive environment that supports students in all aspects. Data analysis is continuously done to address areas of concern in the acquisition of skills, which allows teachers to develop activities to address student's needs.

Parental involvement at this campus plays a significant role in the development of school and community activities. Parents are provided multiple opportunities to participate in activities that are tied to an academic area such as Math & Science Family Night and monthly Library Night. The events allow parents a chance to support the instructional delivery that is taking place in the classrooms and contribute to the success of their children.
