NBRS Badge for Windber Area High School

Windber Area High School - Windber, PA

Windber Pride....Experience It!

"Windber Pride....Experience It!"

Windber Area High School is embodied in a motto that not only exemplifies the school, staff and its students, but is also deeply interwoven within the community of Windber, "Windber Pride...Experience It!" These four simple words are a testament to the dignity and depth of connection that our students and alumni feel relative to their time attending our school. The bond between our community and our school is a unique marriage that has developed a flourishing rural community supporting itself through a dedication to the highest expectations of educational opportunity.

The course of studies at Windber Area High School is designed to not only provide students with the opportunities they need to leave school prepared for their future endeavors, but also to have driven each student to explore their greatest academic potential. Advanced Placement, Dual Enrollment, Career and Technology Education, and Individualized Instructional Planning are the foundational elements of our students having the opportunities to pursue their college and career aspirations.

The administration and staff of Windber Area School District are deliberate and professional in their focus of providing a rich curriculum that challenges their students. They generate authentic connections that provide students with the abilities to become problem solvers, collaborators, communicators, and innovators.
The Windber Area School District establishes District Goals that have high expectations and celebrate school and student success in academics, athletics, arts, and activities.
