Mars Area High School's long-standing tradition of academic excellence is exemplified by the dedication of our staff who ensure a quality education for all of our students. Our high school, at the core of a rapidly growing rural community, provides a positive climate that promotes student involvement in not only their own academic success, but in the success of the community as well. Through the Rachel's Challenge program, students have not only worked to ensure a positive, safe school environment, but have strived to provide assistance to various local and regional causes. Through these efforts, our students have developed a renewed sense of pride in their school and their community.
In addition, Mars Area High School is committed to providing our students with the latest materials and technologies to aid them in their educational success, both in and beyond high school. Our school offers a 1:1 Technology Program, offering all of our students a tablet computer to be used during the school day and at home. Our school offers more than 150 course selections. Our flexible curriculum presents students with options, including: early entry into college, 12 Advanced Placement courses, eight College within the High?School courses, 15 Advanced courses, and, enrollment in the Butler County Area Vocational/Technical School.
