Wadsworth Middle School students show off their Grizzly Pride!!

Wadsworth Middle School students show off their Grizzly Pride!!

Wadsworth Middle School is comprised of 750+ students in grades seven and eight. We are a middle school built on relationships which provides the foundation for everything we do. We strive for personal relationships with all students, with common goals. Academically, our students consistently thrive and excel in many avenues. We support our staff with on-going, meaningful professional development opportunities and allow their voices to be heard in the decision-making process.

Our middle school community understands that our students have a variety of needs that we must address including academic, behavioral, social, and emotional. Based upon our strong programming addressing our student needs, WMS has earned the prestigious RAMP (Recommended ASCA Model Program) Designation through the National School Counselors Association. This designation reinforced our belief that an overall healthy student is a productive student. To build upon skills learned in the classroom and form positive relationships, students participate in a variety of extra-curricular activities and community service initiatives. A school-wide initiative to read A Long Walk to Water lead to the creation of a well in an African school community based upon fundraising efforts within our school and Wadsworth community.

We take great pride in our school, highlighting the three A's, Academics, Arts, and Athletics equally. Wadsworth Middle students are relentless in their actions, relentless in their behaviors, and relentlessly working towards being their very best, each and every day.
