Franklin Elementary School of Delphos City Schools is located in Delphos, Ohio and has continued to provide a quality education to the children of Delphos in its current location since the early 1960's. Despite the district never being financially strong and the elementary consistently remaining around the fifty percent plateau for free and reduced lunches, Franklin Elementary has had continued success through hard work and dedication from the school's students, parents, staff, community, and everyone involved in the education of the children of Delphos. The staff at Franklin believes wholeheartedly in the following quote; "The students don't care how much you know until they know how much you care!"

The staff at Franklin Elementary has taken an approach where we try to look at every child's education on an individual level and do everything in our control to instruct each child in a way that meets their individual needs and uses the student's individual strengths. The students begin to take pride in their education and gain confidence in themselves when their educational needs are able to be reached at an individual's personal level.

Franklin Elementary's use of instructional practices that include the implementation of Ohio's current State Educational Standards, vertical and horizontal planning teams, documented interventions, implementation of common Phonics and Math programs, and continuous progress monitoring has supported the students academic growth.
