Ladera del Norte Elementary School is located in Farmington, NM, the largest and most diverse community in the Four Corners region. Ladera del Norte Elementary strives to create a supportive environment where all students experience success: academically, emotionally, and socially. The Ladera staff is a highly professional, collaborative team that brings a wealth of professional knowledge to their goals around teaching and learning.

Every adult at Ladera del Norte is deeply committed to sharing responsibility for every child entering our school. In aligning our efforts around academic achievement, our students have experienced great successes. By working across classrooms and grade levels to intervene and enrich, we have created a system that guarantees excellence for every student on our campus. In addressing the challenge of meeting the individual needs of all students, our school has adopted a standards-based educational system that includes clear learning targets and a reporting system that reflects mastery. As embodied in our motto, "rising to excellence in every pursuit," we continuously reflect on and improve our systems and processes to ensure equity and opportunity for all of the students and families we serve.
