Saints Cyril and Methodius School (SSCM) located in Lemont, IL has been proudly serving the community by providing outstanding academics for over 130 years. SSCM is honored to be recognized as a 2019 National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence by the United States Department of Education.
SSCM embodies the entire school community to enable the success of its future leaders. As a school, teachers, staff, administration, and parents are key components in working towards the school's mission. The school embraces the unique qualities of students and fosters learning rooted in faith. Students take active roles in service projects, faith formation, leadership clubs, academic groups, performing arts, and athletics to in order to further develop a strong character.
SSCM is an AdvancED accredited school. Students utilize 1:1 technology through Chromebooks and other digital applications to ensure the highest quality instruction both inside and outside the classroom in all grade levels from preschool through eighth grade. Communication and collaboration are strong components of the SSCM community.
