Tritt Elementary Students - Learning is Engaging, Collaborative, and Fun!

Tritt Elementary School is located in Marietta, Georgia and serves just over 900 students in Pre-Kindergarten through fifth grade. Tritt is a high-achieving school that consistently implements effective and innovative instructional practices and strategies to reach a variety of learners. Tritt is a STEM certified school working towards STEAM certification.

Tritt has a solid family and community connection which includes a thriving PTA and Foundation. The school welcomes all parents, community members, and stakeholders to be a part of the mission of the school: One Team, One Goal, a Community of Engaged Learners. Tritt also partners with local businesses for volunteer support, funding for special events, and STEAM partnerships. Each grade level works to build a partnership with a local business to solve a problem that connects to their grade level science standards. This becomes the year-long STEAM focus. Once the students identify the problem within the community, they collaboratively and organically work to find solutions. Teachers connect the research and STEAM focus through all disciples throughout their instructional day.

Our Foundation funds enhancements such as technology, a Science lab instructor, and professional development training for the teachers. Through rigorous and recurring training, our teachers are implementing research-based instructional strategies in Phonics and Writing. The teachers at Tritt implement a workshop model in Mathematics & English Language Arts. The teachers differentiate for each student in the workshop model to ensure learning needs are met. The community, staff, and students make Tritt a safe and inviting atmosphere for all students to engage in authentic learning each day.
