Independent workstations...it's what we do.

Maxwell AFB Elementary/Middle School is a Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) school for military-connected students living on Maxwell Air Force Base in Montgomery, AL. We serve approximately 400 students from pre-school through eighth grade. Our families and students are a diverse and resilient group. Most are stationed here for ten months and are only able to complete one school year with us, before having to relocate again. We do our best to provide them with a safe and stable school environment, in order to help ease some of the challenges associated with a life of military service. We strive to put the needs of children first. In doing so, we have seen a positive impact on the whole child, as well as strong academic success. Commitment to doing what is right and unwavering focus on what is most important guide us on our journey. We are simply a group of ordinary individuals committed to do extraordinary work.
