Jimmy Carter Early College High School

Jimmy Carter Early College High School was founded upon the belief that all students, regardless of socio-economic background, can achieve college success. We guide students through a thoughtfully chosen area of study, accurate course placement, and ultimately an associate's degree. The process is organized, informative, and supportive, designed to focus students on their ultimate goal: to prepare for college, career, and life. Administrators, teachers, and support staff commit to this vision, as do students.

To prepare students academically, The Common Instructional Framework is implemented in all courses, a guide that provides teacher and student flexibility, originality, and rigor. Our teachers are life-long learners and collaborators, dedicated to the belief students learn when provided an academic environment that is rigorous yet supportive. All teachers are highly accessible, and students frequently use classrooms to study, collaborate, or tutor. Our campus is united through shared values of inclusivity, respect, and commitment to a common goal. Students feel part of an institution dedicated to their academic and social well-being. First to attend college in their family, our students are educational pioneers building a legacy of excellence for themselves, their family, and their community, well into the 21st century.
