Ancillae-Assumpta Academy is a private, co-educational, Catholic school sponsored by the Handmaids of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, welcoming students in preschool to grade 8. The Academy has a clearly articulated and rigorous curriculum rooted in Gospel values and 21st century skills.

The school's educational philosophy, known as R.I.C.E., promotes an integral understanding and practice of shared Responsibility, human Interdependence, dynamic Creativity, and people Empowerment. Through this philosophy, the students learn in theory and experience to appreciate the importance of a global viewpoint and to see the interrelatedness of peoples, which prepares them for the challenges and demands of the future.

We strive every day to attend to the intellectual, creative, and emotional diversity of our students in an effort to educate and nurture the whole child. A comprehensive Resource Learning Program, a three-year long Student Advisory Program for students in grades 6-8, and an authentic Service Learning Program support this priority.

Our commitment to strategic planning has been key to maintaining the level of quality education. Through this planning and vision, the Academy has brought to life innovative teaching and learning practices and flexible environments that inspire our students. With a dynamic professional learning program, our teachers promote personalization, collaboration, and experimentation in the classroom. In our STEM curriculum, students engage in hands-on experimentation, problem-solving, coding, augmented reality, virtual reality, and engineering. Our faculty focus on the meaningful integration of technology to extend and enrich student achievement and to reach the diverse learning needs of our students.
