St. Mary Magdalen School in Media, Pennsylvania, within the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, serves children from Pre-K 3 through grade 8 with an "Academically Excellent" educational program in a "Passionately Catholic" community.

St. Mary Magdalen is committed to excellent, faith-based, character-forming education in a safe and supportive environment. Our students historically outperform 85% of students on a national level. In the development of the whole child, we focus on responsible social participation, service, and guidance towards moral responsibility and global awareness.

The school takes great pride in many traditional strategies of instruction, infused with current technology, that supports creativity, collaboration, critical thinking, problem solving, and communication. Our Fine Arts Department encompasses choral, instrumental, and visual art enrichment. The vocation of assisting students to reach and surpass their potential in every facet of learning is the primary commitment of each educator at St. Mary Magdalen School.

The foremost emphasis of our program is the development and formation of our students in their knowledge and relation with God and others. The school strives to build a community with strong values and morals that serves others through stewardship and action.

The mission of St. Mary Magdalen School is precise and forthright. The goal is to cultivate and encourage the development of our students within the context of faith and love, and to afford the students every opportunity to succeed on many levels. The educators and administration are dedicated to this goal, the students, the parents and the parish community.
