Bluffton Elementary School (BES) proudly carries a long-standing tradition of being an excellent school. The collaboration between students, teachers, parents, administrators, and the community at large is paramount to our success. The staff at BES is dedicated to providing a safe and stimulating environment geared toward meeting the needs of every student. Our goal is to develop individuals who demonstrate problem-solving skills, personal responsibility, and a desire for lifelong learning.

The entire staff is committed to building relationships with our students. This extra effort allows teachers to identify and address students' individual and academic needs and to provide early intervention. Teachers participate in monthly, job-embedded professional development that promotes student growth by providing new strategies and resources for instruction.

Parental support is imperative to our success as evidenced by the fact that 98% of our parents attend Parent/Teacher conferences. The P.T.O. is very active and positively impacts our school by providing assemblies and needed classroom materials. Technology also plays a big role in success as all students have access to chrome books and/or iPads with chrome books for each student in grades 2-5. Teachers utilize technology daily for research and curriculum based activities.

We place a high value on our intervention services which include research-based best practices to support our students that struggle. Our community is very supportive and provides many partnerships, programs, and volunteers. Our students are able to visualize their role as future leaders. We are very blessed to have such strong support for our school.
