Maintaining enrollment and offering the services a larger district can provide has been a challenge for us in the past. Housing has been an issue, but local communities and investors have worked hard to create housing developments. The lots in the new developments have sold quickly allowing us to maintain enrollment.
Our staff has had the opportunity to participate in the training, Improving Academic Literacy with Dr. Kevin Feldman. We have found the philosophy, "Everyone Does Everything," where all students are engaged at all times to be very powerful and very valuable to our academic achievement. This, along with the implementation of Project-Based Learning, allows our students to have a voice and choice.
