Kingston Elementary is part of the Kingsto k-14 district located in Cadet, MO. Through the support of the community, the school continues to achieve academic success which helps to establish a strong foundation for the future success of our students.
Kingston Elementary provides an environment that encourages learning, inspires pride, promotes bold dreaming, and offers support to all involved. It is through our mission that our staff and students work diligently every day to reach success at school.
Progress at Kingston is accelerated through the utilization of data analysis and teamwork. Teachers evaluate test results to determine the strengths and weaknesses of their students. This allows all students to receive enrichment or remediation as deemed necessary through assessments. This method of data analysis supports the use of mastery learning and STEM instruction in the building. Teachers collaborate to analyze data and discuss the strengths and weaknesses of their teaching methods to ensure instructional success for every teacher in every classroom.
Kingston Elementary has maintained a strong after-school program which includes tutoring, enrichment activities, homework assistance, and a dinner before students are bused home. The building also supports student learning with a Title l Program that helps student learning in conjunction with other grade level teachers. In addition to strong academic supports, students participate in a program called Cougar Connections which promotes both social and emotional skills.
Kingston Elementary is a place where students and staff work collaboratively as risk-takers and problem solvers who support each other to ensure that everyone experiences success.
