Bibich Elementary School, home of the Bulldogs, is celebrating our 40th year of academic excellence by emphasizing our overarching mission of "Kids First". Like a completed jigsaw puzzle, team members work together to develop all students' full potential physically, emotionally, academically, socially, and culturally.
Bibich’s top priority is to ensure everyone feels physically safe and secure from door to door. We accomplish this through the strong relationship built with the community, including the Town of Dyer Police and Fire Departments. Our staff is devoted to ongoing professional development that helps us support students emotionally. Research shows when physical and emotional needs are met, students are better prepared to learn. Students are academically motivated, on task, and fully engaged through lessons incorporating research-based objectives, differentiated instruction, higher-level thinking skills, and an inquiry approach. Everyone collaborates to make data-driven decisions that produce positive student outcomes. Students have multiple opportunities for social interactions before, during, and after school. In-class learning groups, clubs, and family activities nurture healthy relationships at school and within the community.
We are proud of the positive culture we have developed and maintained. Our school community supports one another and works together to maintain respect, high expectations, and an overwhelming cooperative atmosphere. Bibich Elementary School provides a safe, positive learning environment for students to become self-directed learners who achieve their personal best and become responsible, contributing citizens. This mission guides our commitment to our philosophy of "Kids First".
