Solon Robinson Elementary School continues to rise as a very high achieving Title 1 elementary school. Solon Robinson is named after the founder of our small, quaint town of Crown Point, Indiana. The school climate and culture are felt to all visitors as they enter the building. Solon is very fortunate to work with very active and supportive parents that represent very diverse cultures.

The Solon teachers have been empowered to take leadership roles within the building. The students are expected to take ownership of their own learning. The Solon teachers are a dedicated group of individuals; Solon staff continues to have a strong collaborative culture that fosters a solid building leadership and highly effective teachers. This exciting learning environment has embedded strong vision, curriculum, instruction, and high academic student expectations.

Solon has never looked to earn this national award. Each day, Solon teachers dedicate many hours to reach each and every student. The teachers are very humble; they never look for individual honors or accolades, but their constant focus continues as advocates for children, voices for children, and life-long educators that will always put students first.
Solon is such a proud school; school pride resonates throughout the building. Teachers encourage students to show their love for Solon every single day, because it truly is a great day to be a Solon Stinger!!!
