Lincoln Elementary: A world of opportunity.

Lincoln Elementary: A world of opportunity.

Lincoln Elementary is a k-4 school located in rural southeastern Idaho, approximately eighty-five miles southwest of Yellowstone Park. Within our attendance area is Brigham Young University – Idaho, which partners with Lincoln Elementary to provide a world of expanded learning opportunities, all within walking distance. We are part of Madison School District #321, one of the most successful school districts in the State of Idaho.

Parent involvement is the key to our success. We know the names of each and every child. Strengthening families in all we do is our goal.

With our high numbers of university student parents, Madison County has the highest poverty rate in the State of Idaho, yet parents continue to support school levies and bonds. Lincoln students consistently score in the reading and math proficiency range of 85-95%. Literacy in math and reading is part of the community culture.

School safety is part of an ongoing partnership with local law enforcement, who visit our school regularly and have come to be known personally by our students.

Lincoln faculty thrive in a family environment of professional learning. Professional development provided through district-level training as well as local university efforts provide a world of opportunity for teaching advancement.

Lincoln Elementary is a beacon of light shining brightly in an ocean of economic disadvantage.
