Tarpon Springs Fundamental offers a rich environment for the development of academic and critical thinking skills, as well as social responsibility. A primary goal is to partner with families in developing their children to become responsible citizens while providing rigorous learning opportunities that maximize student potential. Tarpon Springs Fundamental Elementary is a school of choice where parents and students commit to Fundamental policies which include parental involvement, student responsibility for learning and high levels of communication between all stakeholders. Our school prides ourselves in creating a positive culture where caring and kindness are pervasive throughout the campus. Through our commitment to educating the whole child, each student is known and valued for their role in our school's collective success.

Our school has continually succeeded in exceeding the increasing district and state expectations for student achievement. For the past several years, over 90% of students have met or surpassed grade-level expectations in English Language Arts, mathematics, and science. Enrichment opportunities provided to our students both within and outside of the school day play an important role in broadening students' understanding of how their learning relates to the real world. Whether it's a high-five from the principal to start the day, experiencing rigorous, real-world learning, or exploring student interests through enrichment clubs, Tarpon Springs Fundamental Elementary encompasses all that defines excellence in education today.
