5th graders at Willow Creek show pride in their school!

Willow Creek has been a high achieving school since it opened in 1977. Cherry Creek School District's Mission is, "Dedicated to Excellence" and Willow Creek Elementary has embraced the mission by setting high standards for students, maintaining excellent teachers, sustaining positive relationships with the community, and focusing on the success of ALL students. Teachers and staff are committed to aligning practices with both the school and district mission.

Willow Creek is located in a stable neighborhood. It has its own "feel" similar to a small town, even though it sits in a neighborhood with ample shopping, professional buildings, and close to a major interstate. The close knit community lends itself to a safe physical and psychological atmosphere.

Teachers and support staff are highly trained, experienced, and 100% dedicated to their school and community. Relationships have always been a priority. Staff takes care of one another, families, and most importantly, students. Willow Creek has a history of dedicated, progressive leaders who have supported teachers so that they have what they need to help students be successful.

The climate of the Willow Creek community is grounded in a growth mindset and a dedication to learning and excellence. There is profound pride in being a part of this amazing school community!
