Zach Elementary, located in Fort Collins, Colorado, is a 16-year-old neighborhood school that fosters excellence in academic performance for students from all backgrounds. As part of the Poudre School District, they strive to enrich students' classroom experiences through a broad base of knowledge, rich vocabulary, and integrated curriculum using the Core Knowledge Sequence. Zach’s vision is that they provide the highest quality instruction, best practices, and interventions that will match the unique needs of individual students ensuring that all children reach their fullest potential.

They have been continually ranked as one of the top performing schools in the state of Colorado. The staff believes that together they inspire and so the school operates within the professional learning community and breakthrough coaching models, while utilizing a strong parent partnership.

Zach has transformed their fundamental belief that all kids can learn into actual school-wide practices, ensuring high levels of learning for all. Through the creation and implementation of a Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS), they have a clear process for supporting all students at every level of learning. Zach Elementary knows the importance of being on a path of clarity, competence, and consistency.

Zach is also known for promoting an environment where safety, learning, and fun are the priorities! The teachers, parents, paraprofessionals, custodians, itinerants, kitchen staff, secretaries, and administrators all work together to create a safe learning environment for the students.
