For the past 100 years, Midway has been a place where high expectations set the stage for optimal learning. Every student who attends the school experiences success, which has resulted in generations of committed stakeholders and a long-standing reputation for academic excellence.
The staff functions as a family who demonstrates genuine concern for one another and work collaboratively and tirelessly to serve the students in their care. The school's rich history and deep community roots make this school a special place to work and learn. An unusually strong partnership exists within the school to home community as many parents and teachers were once Midway students themselves.
Through the implementation of a student-centered teaching model, Midway continues to be a school where young people perform at optimal levels and exceed all local, state, and federal benchmarks. Midway is a school where every stakeholder is committed to ensuring that learning is relevant and transferable beyond the classroom walls and that every student every day receives the education of a lifetime.
