Annual Music In Our Schools Performance

Annual "Music In Our Schools" Performance

Founded in 1936, Franklin Elementary School has evolved into an exemplary learning community in which all students are valued, respected, and celebrated. Rooted in its storied history and tradition, Franklin is a beacon of civic pride and academic excellence in our community. Proud of the past, inspired by the present, and enthused for the future, we know that the best is yet to come for Franklin Elementary School.

At Franklin, we are committed to providing high-quality instruction incorporating innovative best teaching practices for all students in a safe, healthy, student-centered learning environment. Charged with the responsibility of preparing students for success in a changing world, it is imperative that we educate the whole child by providing rigorous, comprehensive learning opportunities founded on high expectations, a challenging curriculum, a growth mindset, and a shared commitment to excellence while developing positive, trusting, and collaborative relationships with students and families.

The secret to our success lies in our commitment to developing relationships and cultivating a positive school climate. Staff at Franklin work intentionally and passionately at establishing and deepening relationships with students and families early and often in the instructional process. As Dr. James Comer states, "No significant learning occurs without a significant relationship." That approach guides everything we do at Franklin and serves as the foundation on which our academic success is built.
