Toll Gate Middle School's mission is to "provide an engaging, innovative and holistic experience that empowers all students to become responsible, productive citizens." Toll Gate Middle School is located about 30 minutes southeast of Columbus, OH. Our school is an amazing place for all children to learn as we differentiate instruction through a blended learning model. A variety of programs are in place for all learners. Our district provides a laptop computer for each child to enhance the educational experience for our students. In addition, we meet weekly in teacher based team meetings to analyze student assessments to make data based decisions to increase achievement for all students. Finally, building a positive school culture is a focus at Toll Gate Middle School. The positive learning environment the staff sets provides our students with the appropriate mindset and intrinsic motivation. We have implemented community-based programs such as Watch Dog Dads and school based programs such as Positive Behavioral Supports to cultivate a safe and caring environment for our students, staff, and community members. We value the relationships, we build with all stakeholders, and feel this contributes to success at Toll Gate Middle School.
