Students participate in a fund raiser supporting Project Helping Hearts
Ledgeview Elementary's continued success has been built on commitment to the ideal that we must continue to learn, grow and adapt as educators to help our students achieve academically and develop socially/emotionally so they can be successful throughout their lives. This commitment is evidenced by the continuous collaboration between our Building Leadership Team (BLT) and our Teacher-Based Teams (TBTs) to determine the best course of action to meet the changing needs of our students in ways that enhance all students' learning.
Ledgeview Elementary has focused work on building and strengthening a school wide culture of respect, kindness and hard work. We believe that a positive student centered building culture creates an atmosphere that allows students to take the necessary emotional and intellectual risks they need to grow academically. We recognize and honor our students' social and academic growth through a number of building wide student recognition programs. As part of our on going commitment to growth we have started a three-year process to revisit and revise our building's Positive Behavior Support Program to maximize it's effectiveness. The Ledgeview staff also has a long history of continuously examining academic programs and approaches to ensure we are taking advantage of the latest research in education. Ledgeview has been able to change with the times due to the district's commitment to support organic growth and change through monthly Professional Learning Community time built into the school calendar throughout the school year.
