Summary

Valhalla High School enjoys the opportunities that being a part of a three town district brings. Serving three towns makes the idea of community an all-encompassing focus. Valhalla understands the importance of, not only educating students academically, but also preparing them to become young adults. Valhalla prides itself in supporting the Vision Statement that "Valhalla High School is a public school with a private school feel that accepts students as children and helps them become young adults ready to face the challenges that await them."

Character and community are a cornerstone to Valhalla High School, our students and staff. Valhalla students are encouraged to help others and supported in the process. From the Student of the Month program, which recognizes character, to events such as the Leave Your Footprint on Valhalla walk for TBI, Valhalla students are out in force to do their part in making the world a better place. With over 85 percent of the student body participating in extra- or co-curricular program, the students are committed to being a part of the high school and creating a community within.

Valhalla students receive an education that is focused on the whole student. The Board of Education has made it their goal to ensure students are educated mind, body and spirit. In Valhalla, students are found succeeding in the classroom, the art room, on stage and on the athletic fields. Providing opportunities for the whole student to be engaged in the learning process is paramount to success in Valhalla.
