Cedar Hill Prep offers a combination of a forward thinking and clearly defined curriculum, a faculty promoting excellence in learning, and an environment that encourages social awareness and a commitment to cultivating meaningful relationships with our families. With representation from more than 23 countries, the CHP community enjoys the richness that its cultural diversity provides.
From the moment one walks onto the campus of CHP, one senses the connection among all members of the community. The vibrancy of the environment is evident in the spirited interactions and the overall sense of warmth and engagement. CHP believes the educational environment is key to harnessing each child's unique traits. Children learn best in a safe, caring, and nurturing environment that inspires young minds to achieve academic and personal excellence within the context of a strong, team-oriented community. CHP sows the seeds of curiosity, love for knowledge, and the will to engage socially such that every student has a sense of identity and purpose in life.
Students are provided varied opportunities, on and off-campus, designed to build social and leadership skills, confidence, and a larger perspective of their education. Small class sizes and differentiated instruction utilizing multi-media, interactive sessions, and interdisciplinary projects are key to the dynamic participation and proficiency of the students.
The trophy case in CHP's lobby celebrates the success of its educational formula with student awards for many regional, national, and international competitions, including Robotics, Debates, and Academic Bees (i.e. World Champions RoboCup Junior 2016 -- Onstage Division, US Champions 2017, National Finalists in History Bee and Top performers in Math and Science Leagues).
