Adams students catch the spirit and celebrate pride in excellence.

Rochester Adams High School, home of the Highlanders, is located in Rochester Hills, Michigan and is part of the highly acclaimed Rochester Community School District. The community is deeply involved in the education of their children and highly supportive of all its exceptional schools. Adams promotes the tradition of having "Pride in Excellence" throughout the school experience which includes academics, fine arts, athletics, and extracurricular activities. Students, faculty, staff, and parents collaborate to make the "Adams Family" exemplary by preparing students to be "college ready, career ready, and life ready." Students experience unique, challenging, and highly engaging learning activities in a curriculum specifically designed to meet the needs of all learners.

The Adams' formula for success is a combination of motivated students, caring parents, and a creative staff that incorporates fun into rigorous learning. Education does not stop at the door of the classroom; it continues through events such as Mole Day, Physics Olympics, Foreign Language Week, and many others. Parental involvement remains strong every year, centered around a large and dedicated Parent Teacher Student Association. Strong student intervention programs assure that all students can maximize their performance in the classroom and on standardized tests. Students take pride in their academic success, but even more pride in assisting their peers and supporting their community through philanthropic endeavors. The annual student charity week promotes collaboration between students, staff, and parents to raise thousands of dollars for local charities. Students strive for perfection, celebrate excellence, help others, and showcase Highlander pride along the way.
