We are Forest View. Located in the northern part of rural Michigan, we are part of Cadillac Area Public Schools and we are privileged to be on the border of the picturesque Manistee National Forest. Words like inspire, create, innovate and collaborate echo through the halls of Forest View motivating students to reach their full potential academically, socially, culturally, emotionally, and physically.
Forest View has a long tradition of excellence with the consistent implementation of 21st century learners 4-Cs: Critical thinking, Collaboration, Communication, and Creativity. We are all vested in creating a culture that is designed to initiate meaningful interactions among all stakeholders to motivate students to achieve their potential. There is a common vision of developing critical and creative thinkers, lifelong learners, and productive citizens. We do this by engaging in practices which build self-confidence, social skills, and envisioning a future of endless possibilities. Forest View strives to provide and cultivate well rounded students through our academics, fine arts, technology, and a myriad of after-school activities.
Forest View has been recognized in the top 92% of Michigan schools and in 2016 was a National Title I School based on consistent student achievement. At Forest View, we are most proud of our commitment to make decisions based on what's best for all students. All students receive the support they need. All students are loved and cared for. All students are held to high expectations, and most importantly, no student leaves Forest View without the foundation for success.
