Care and attention to the whole child is our hallmark at Falmouth Elementary School. Leaders, faculty, and staff at FES are committed to meeting the needs of each child, and developing healthy life-long learners and responsible citizens. We put great care into creating an environment where students feel safe, valued, and an integral part of their community. We recognize that learning does not come via a single set of steps that can be mapped out, and support students in pursuing different pathways to success. We strive to meet each child where he or she is at, to celebrate their strengths, and to guide them in persevering through challenges. Our instructional practices cultivate growth mindset, foster student voice and choice, differentiate, and hold students to clear and rigorous learning outcomes. Students have rich learning opportunities including art, music, library, world language, and computer science. They benefit from interdisciplinary and authentic learning through our Greenhouse Program, Wellness Events, Arts Night, Coding and Engineering Nights.

Our comprehensive guidance curriculum empowers students to be self-advocates while simultaneously supporting one another in learning. Students regularly engage in self- reflection and goal setting. Student play and movement are strategically embedded within our daily schedule, and character building is a priority in all grade levels. Our comprehensive RTI process casts a wide net to catch and support the academic and behavioral needs of our students. Together we inspire our students to embrace the tenets of our Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports while promoting a caring school climate.
