Summary

McClure Junior High School is a great place to learn and grow. While there are many factors that contribute to our success, the main reason that McClure is special is the learning environment that permeates throughout every classroom or learning space within our building.

"McClure is blessed with an incredibly caring and forward-thinking teaching staff." Parent

"No one in this building makes me feel "like a janitor." Everyone, students and staff alike, treat me like an equal." Custodian

"Students and staff are not afraid to try new things. If and when we fail, we will simply try harder and get better." Teacher

"The relationship and rapport between students and adults allows us all to learn and grow together." Teacher

"We get to experiment, push boundaries, and think outside-the-box because we trust our curious and hard-working students." Teacher

"I like how McClure gives us the freedom to choose many things. It gives us the chance to be more flexible with our learning." 8th Grade Student

"All of the teachers care about the students very much. It is a very welcoming place." 7th Grade Student

"I feel very supported to be myself and to make mistakes, learn and grow for the betterment of my students." Teacher

I hope that it was OK for me to get the above quotes from many different people who call McClure home. I don't think that I could have said it any better.
