Copeland Manor Elementary School in Libertyville, Illinois - home of the Cougars - offers children in kindergarten through grade five a wealth of varied learning experiences. Copeland Manor is a large school with a small school feel. Copeland students have demonstrated exemplary academic achievement for many years, which is reflected in overall teaching and learning practices every day. Copeland makes a profound commitment to ensure that every student feels safe and is excited to come to school each day. Teachers work with parents so that all children receive superior opportunities within the District 70 Applications of Learning: Communication, Working on Teams, Self-Direction, Solving Problems, Using Technology, and Making Connections. Learning skills that cross curricular lines reinforce concepts that will greatly influence students' success in school - and throughout their lives - in an ever-evolving world.

Teacher leaders teams meet regularly to ensure that students receive appropriate interventions and individualized enrichment to meet determined personalized learning growth goals. Our community is committed to academic and behavior growth for all students, who are empowered to promote their own learning. We provide a rigorous, balanced curriculum to prepare students academically and emotionally for middle school and beyond Our students have unique opportunities from designing in the Maker Space to participating in community celebrations such as inviting veterans to speak. Technology is infused throughout every school day with devices available for each student within the classroom.

Our community takes great pride in our school and is a constant foundation for opportunities provided to the students.
