2017 8th grade class after graduation

St. Joseph School is a PreK-8 school in Wilmette, Illinois serving the north shore of Chicago. From it's humble beginnings as a local parish school for the immigrant German population, St. Joseph School grew to be a pillar of the community. St. Joseph School has forged a strong community engagement, academic excellence, and character formation.

St. Joseph School students continue to excel academically. Standardized test results, as well as periodic assessments, demonstrate St. Joseph students have far exceeded national averages, with many classes surpassing the 90th percentile. All students in the past 5 graduating classes were admitted to the high school of their first choice, including those who tested into well-regarded and selective private schools.

Self confidence and emotional development are also fostered in St. Joseph students through school masses which each grade organizes and leads throughout the year as well as Eucharistic Adoration. The athletic program nurtures both the physical and emotional development of it's students through "no cut" teams that emphasize teamwork and improvement. St. Joseph students are also nurtured through the arts with musical and visual art classes as a part of their weekly curriculum.

St. Joseph School stives to build students who are academically excellent, are of good character, and have a strong relationship with God. This mission can only be carried out through the collaboration with the community and the selfless service of the faculty.
