Saint Gilbert Catholic School, which serves students in preschool-eighth grade, is a vibrant Catholic educational community nestled in the village of Grayslake, a thriving community northwest of Chicago. Our Catholic values and teachings permeate all subject areas and activities, we foster the unique gifts of each child, promote academic excellence while reaching out to the community of Grayslake and beyond in socially responsible ways. Students graduate as compassionate individuals willing to share their gifts with others.

At Saint Gilbert School students, teachers, administrators, and parents work together to meet the learning needs of each child by employing a variety of instructional methods and tools. The students consistently perform above the national average on standardized tests, which is a testament to the efforts of the teachers to provide a quality education.

Instructional technology is integrated daily and in meaningful ways. Computers, Smart Boards and a 1:1 program for Kindergarten-eighth grade extend, enrich, and support the curriculum. In addition, students have the opportunity to join in several technological clubs such as robotics and coding that expose students to STEM education and allow them to put what they learn into action by requiring them to become analytic thinkers and problem solvers.
