Peoria Christian Elementary School (PCS) exists "to support the Christian home and church by preparing students to lead Christ-like lives through a biblical approach to education." Our mission is accomplished in an engaging, creative, family-type atmosphere. Our teachers are life-long learners who seek to find new and varied ways of meeting the needs of students as they strive to establish a sense of wonder and excitement in all learning. Peoria Christian Elementary School is accredited by the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI), AdvancEd (North Central Association), and recognized by the state of Illinois.

Since receiving the National Blue Ribbon Award in 2009, PCS has continued in the pursuit of academic excellence which is seen across the district with "lifers", PK-12th grade, earning a 26.8 composite on the 2017 ACT. Updates to classrooms, with an emphasis on fine arts and technology, have been implemented, as well as multiple security enhancements.

Our students benefit from a biblical worldview focus which is foundational to strong academics. Students are taught 20 biblical truths that are incorporated throughout all content during the day. PCS students have the opportunity to put their faith into action through service projects both locally and globally. Our vision is to lay a firm foundation for students to be academically skilled to later go into the work force and impact the world for Christ.
