Manatee Elementary provides countless educational and enrichment opportunities for everyone.

Manatee Elementary provides countless educational and enrichment opportunities for everyone.

Manatee Elementary is a K-6th grade school located in Viera, the heart of Brevard County, Florida. Manatee has earned an 'A" school rating, along with many other academic distinctions, since opening in 2003. We foster an environment of rigorous academics and character enrichment.

The level of academic success that Manatee achieves is the direct result of progressive leadership and highly credentialed teachers. The administration provides professional development opportunities well beyond state requirements. Manatee's teachers hold many accelerated degrees and certifications that ensure high quality instruction. Additionally, they provide many enrichment activities including code writing, S.T.E.M. activities, academic clubs, and more. The creative and athletic programs nurture the artistic and physical interests of the students.

The support of our PTO and our community connections provide us with the resources and opportunities to create meaningful programs that foster concern for others and teach both the responsibility and the reward of making the world a better place. Throughout the year, Manatee hosts a variety of events to reinforce these core values. Manatee staff, students, and families raise money and awareness for a variety of charitable causes including local food banks, libraries, senior centers, cancer research, the Ronald McDonald House, and other deserving causes. In addition, our Green School initiatives put a more focused effort on recycling in our school and neighborhoods. These efforts are not isolated or rare occurrences; they reflect a deep commitment to raising compassionate citizens of tomorrow.

Manatee is more than just a school; it is the foundation of our community.
