Somerset Academy Davie Charter School ("Somerset Davie") opened its doors in August 2003, in a small rural western-themed town. Somerset Davie has embraced its mission through its dedication to providing high quality, equitable education to the community it serves. Accredited by AdvancEd, our Title 1 school offers a small school experience in its non-traditional, six (6) classroom building. The school program is supported by an after-school program developed to support working families. It is with hard work and dedication from all stakeholders that Somerset Davie students continue to meet and exceed their academic goals. Somerset Davie has earned a grade of "A" from the Florida Department of Education, since 2008. Over the years, our school has developed ways to encourage and challenge our students academically, emotionally, and socially.
The key to Somerset Davie's academic success is our amazing community. Within our family-like atmosphere we strive to provide an individualized, academically rigorous, and engaging curriculum for each student. We focus on the ever-changing needs of our learners, as well as their families. The prestigious honor of being named a National Blue Ribbon School in 2011 has provided our school an abundant sense of pride. Our school may be small in numbers but great in pride for our accomplishments. Continuing the tradition of academic excellence is what drives our school culture to far exceed its goals and expectations.
